the box
there is some scuffing on the base from interacting with surfaces. otherwise i can find no issues.
unique hand painted and signed box depicting/sprite/faerie/faery/fairy. the painting style really compliments the subject in a way i can't quite articulate. the edge of the box top is finished in gold, as are the moon as are the stick with which she is depositing? harvesting? other gold things :). i tried to find something that fairies do that matches this scene, but was unsuccessful :). the box is signed inside the lid with «g coojen» or «g coogen» or «g coogan» or «g coojan». it is a six-sided porcelain box. from facet to opposite facet is 2". from point to opposite point is 2 3/8". box height including lid is 1 1/2". the depth of the box is about 3/4". the box bottom is 1" tall. box lid is about 3/8" tall. with lid on, box is 1 3/8" tall. box circumference is 7".
